The legend that we want to investigate today, is the Legend of the Bible. There are different versions of the Old Testament and the New Testament too. Hebrew, Samaritan, and Greek versions of the Old Testament are different from each other. If you search the whole Old Testament, you cannot find even a single case in which Moses is addressed in other than third person pronoun i.e., nowhere in the Old Testament, God addresses Moses directly to do something.

إِلَى اللَّهِ أَرْبَعِینَ صَبَاحاً فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَى مُوسَى وَ
هَارُونَ یُخَلِّصُهُمْ مِنْ فِرْعَوْنَ فَحَطَّ عَنْهُمْ سَبْعِینَ وَ
مِائَةَ سَنَةٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع هَکَذَا أَنْتُمْ
لَوْ فَعَلْتُمْ لَفَرَّجَ اللَّهُ عَنَّا فَأَمَّا إِذْ لَمْ تَکُونُوا
فَإِنَّ الْأَمْرَ یَنْتَهِی إِلَى مُنْتَهَاهُ.
